'Stay Mentally Healthy' Campaign...
To enable and empower everyone including individuals and organisations, to 'stay mentally healthy' regardless of their financial circumstances. Allowing more people to identify potential mental health concerns and at the same time address them using just one self-help tool, the accredited, tried and tested Self Empowerment Journey (SEJ) Process.
Through the 'Stay Mentally Healthy' campaign we aim to provide prevention, intervention, and postvention training and services to all sectors including: education, business, health & well-being, and the general public.
Empowering the whole educational community with
the SEJ Process to 'stay mentally healthy'
About Us
With over 25 years’ experience empowering individuals through the SEJ Process to ‘stay mentally healthy’.
Through a clearly defined prevention based programme, and whole setting approach, everyone within the educational setting can benefit from the SEJ Process, enabling students, educators/staff and families to ‘stay mentally healthy’. With ongoing support and professional qualifications for setting staff, which has been tried, tested, and supported by ongoing research.
Why a collaborative approach is important
Why a Self Empowerment Process is important
1 in 3 students
One third of students report feeling depressed or lonely while nearly half of students with a mental health condition do not disclose it to their universities (4)
90% chose not to seek support
Despite the universities and HEI providing a plethora of mental health and wellbeing services, a staggering 90% of students surveyed have chosen to never use these facilities due to stigma.(5)
65% have no stress coping strategy
Most students (65%) had no stress related coping mechanisms, at the point of transitioning into Higher Education, highlighting the skills gap within schools, further education, and the home environment. (5)
Why choose the SEJ for your setting?
